Repair & Replacement

Toilet Repair & Replacement

When possible, we repair toilets by replacing worn components such as fill valves, flappers, seals, and other internal components. If the issue can be resolved without replacement, we’ll complete the repair quickly and restore proper function.

We also check the condition of the wax ring and flange when needed to ensure there are no hidden issues causing leaks or instability.

Installation & Components

PROPER INSTALLATION MATTERS

Toilet installation needs to be done correctly to prevent leaks and long-term problems. We ensure the toilet is properly secured, sealed, and connected so it performs reliably and avoids damage to surrounding areas.

Toilet issues are often connected to other parts of the system. We can address related components such as shut-off valves, supply lines, and flange conditions to ensure everything is working together properly.

Common Toilet Problems We Fix in St. Johns County & Jacksonville

Toilets are one of the most frequently used fixtures in any home, and problems can develop over time. From toilets that won’t stop running and leaks to clogs and poor flushing performance, these issues should be addressed quickly to prevent further damage or inconvenience. If left unaddressed, these issues can waste water and lead to higher utility bills or damage around the fixture. We identify the problem and provide the right solution based on the condition of the fixture and surrounding plumbing.

Water Pooling Around the Base

Toilet Constantly Running

A toilet that won’t stop running is quietly draining your water bill. Most cases come down to a faulty flapper, a worn fill valve, or a float out of adjustment — and left alone, a running toilet can waste hundreds of gallons a day. Our plumbers diagnose the exact cause and fix it right the first time.

Weak or Incomplete Flushing

If your toilet struggles to clear the bowl or needs multiple flushes, there’s an underlying issue that won’t go away on its own. Weak flushing is commonly caused by clogged rim jets, a worn flapper, low tank water levels, or a partial drain obstruction.

Toilet Leaking at the Base or Tank

Toilet Leaking at the Base or Tank

Water around the base of your toilet or pooling near the tank needs prompt attention. A base leak typically means a failed wax ring seal, while tank leaks usually point to cracked components, worn gaskets, or a loose supply line.

Frequent Clogs or Backups

Frequent Clogs or Backups

If your toilet backs up regularly, the problem goes deeper than the bowl. Recurring clogs can point to a partial drain obstruction, mineral buildup restricting flow, or a sewer line issue further down. Plunging the same toilet week after week is a temporary fix for a permanent problem.

Loose or Unstable Toilet

Loose or Unstable Toilet

A toilet that rocks or shifts when you sit down is a safety concern as much as a plumbing one. Movement is usually caused by loose floor bolts, a deteriorated wax ring, or a damaged drain flange. Left unrepaired, a loose toilet can break its seal and lead to leaks, odors, and flooring damage.

Toilet Constantly Running

Water Pooling Around the Toilet's Base

Water on the floor around your toilet, even a small amount is never normal and shouldn’t be ignored. It can stem from a failed wax ring, a cracked base, or a slow leak that’s been building unnoticed. The longer moisture sits on bathroom flooring, the greater the risk of mold and subfloor damage.

Jason and team came out today to diagnose an issue with our water heater. Turns out it was an electrical issue and not a problem with the water heater. No charge to take a look, and gave an excellent referral to a trusted electrician. Will be using their services soon in replacing a garbage disposal and faucet. Very honest and straight forward guidance. Highly recommend!
